1.CRONOS is an integrated modular code developed at CEA/Cadarache for the interpretative and predictive time dependent studies of tokamaks experiments and scenarios development. It either solves the current diffusion evolution with the prescribed non-inductive sources and the experimental profiles or solves in the predictive mode the temperature profiles evolution. It is a 1.5D version using any axis-symmetry magnetic equilibria. In addition to the detailed analyses of present experiments, it was also used to develop feedback control loops of the q-profile in advanced tokamak regimes.
